The food and beverage industry has always been a great passion of mine. There is nothing more rewarding to me than to see people happy and amazed by what our restaurant is capable of. My entire staff at the Red Crow Grille makes me proud everyday with their drive to keep learning and giving; always aspiring to be the best at what they do.
I have been in the restaurant business for over 20 years. I have always been in the front of the house as a bartender, server, and hostess. Of course that was in my younger years before I moved to California where I worked as a general manager in several different fine dining restaurants.
Although I already had a taste for wine before I left for California ; once there, my wine education expanded greatly to include the Napa , Sonoma , Santa Cruz and Santa Barbara Valleys , as well as various other West coast wine-producing regions, and wines from around the world. The more I learned, the more my interest in the wine “culture” grew; from growing to selling.
When I returned to the Quad Cities with my husband Andrew, who is also in the restaurant business, I knew someday I wanted to own my own restaurant. As they say, “be careful what you wish for.” After the birth of my children, Shelby and Drew, my restaurant dreams came true. Red Crow Grille was established in October of 1999 in Bettendorf , Iowa with a staff of approximately 30 people. I am extremely proud of this restaurant and its team. I work with the most amazing team of professionals I could hope for or dream of.
The Red Crow Grille has been honored to receive the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence in food and wine for 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005. We have also been chosen for the Sommeliers Guide to the Best Restaurants in America .
